my ode to pandora radio:

pandora radio, i love you so
what you'll play next i'll never know.
you know what i want, and that's a fact,
which is architecture in helsinki, to be exact.
you're nothing like pandora's box, that punished mankind,
instead you play music that gives me peace of mind.
when you find me new music, i take all the credit,
and for this, to you i will forever be indebted.
pandora, pandora, you bring me complete bliss,
i just wish i had unlimited skips!

stay classy,

adieu to you...hello sweetheart.

I just came back from the gym and I feel so empty! My monday late afternoon routine is now obsolete because my yoga teacher is officially gone :[ It's terrible. I've actually been in denial for about 2 weeks now, but going to the gym this afternoon and not having my yoga class was a colossal bummer. I'm going to miss her terribly! No one else can possibly teach her class. She teaches the de rose method, a brazilian style of yoga. Where else can I find my inner peace, while an old man [seems to not know what personal space is] bends over and farts in my face? Alright, that was a bit sarcastic, but the truth nonetheless. Oh well. I guess I'll live. But seriously, I walked into the yoga studio to find a "ballet conditioning class" going on. ballet? seriously? not me.
On another note, I just placed an order for a huge American Apparel shipment today! Gotta love Cyber Monday! I bought that cute sweetheart two-toned mini dress. I also started my new painting/collage today! I'm working with a massive canvas this time, so I've got a lot of creative space to work with. I can't wait.

20 days till LADY GAGA in L.A.!

sweet goodness.

im currently craving:

forget sprinkles.
My craving's so bad, it's a bit ridiculous.
A chocolate velvet sounds deliciously sinful right now.

don't they just look adorable?

hmmm, i'm going to attempt to sleep this craving off... we'll see.

-heart of a buddha

This morning I visited a Buddhist temple, which I was pretty excited about. From the outside it looked pretty small and quaint, but it was absolutely beautiful on the inside! Darling! The service was interesting as well... a lot of meditating, chanting, singing. Most of all, I loved listening to the sensi's sermon. He kept repeating himself, saying "i am you, you are i". It was all about how everything is interconnected... how, like, if you see a piece of paper, you also see a cloud, which produced the rain to give life to the trees, which became paper. So ridiculously deep. The community was so welcoming also... I might have to visit again soon! Here are some pictures I took from within the temple:

definitely going to have to visit again soon.
i'm off to enjoy my sunday!

girl, put your records on.

So my latest obsession is this new record player I bought.

I'm basically in love with it. Lately I've been combing thrift stores for cheap, used records.. and I have a pretty decent collection thus far. The Doors, Cat Stevens, Simon & Garfunkel, a couple of Earth, Wind & Fire albums. Yesterday I went into San Francisco for my sister's birthday dinner, BIG MISTAKE. For some reason I blanked and forgot it was black friday yesterday, and almost died of claustrophobia at the H&M in union square... but I did get to visit Rasputin Music, where I got even MORE records... a couple of Madonna albums, Prince, Journey. Legit shit. At the end of the day I finally got to go shop at H&M thank god... or else I would've thrown an overblown fit. Love the Jimmy Choo line. I think I found something to wear to the Fame Monster... not to sure yet. Ahhh but I would LOVEE LOVE LOVE this:

But I guess I'll have to settle for American Apparel's version. *sigh* too cute. too cute.
I guess I'll live.
