unrequited love

SixxDesign
I am officially a HUGE fan of Bravo's 9 By Design TV show, featuring the self-taught designers, Cortney and Robert Novogratz and their family. This team essentially flips high end New York spaces and sells them. I'm absolutely infatuated with their style, art, creativity, and their eclecticness!!! I LOVE IT! These pictures of their designs are just as exciting as their family is.
I love their style. I love their taste. It's crazyfunkycool. They make living in NYC with seven kids while constantly buying and selling and designing spaces, look so easy and so chic! I'm obsessed. Already ordered their book on Amazon. That's whats up.

The Cupcake Diaries

Crumbs Bakeshop
1675 Broadway (53rd)

New York City, NY
www.crumbs.com

I've tried many cupcake shops in New York City, and I must say that Crumbs, although it may be a chain, is by far the best little shop. I visited after seeing Jersey Boys on Broadway, and was impressed. I was greeted by smiling and excited workers who were energetic and helpful. I asked if I could take a few pictures for my blog, and one of the amazing workers there, his name was Aaron, said jokingly only if he could be in it. So, meet Aaron!
Outloud, I thought to myself which cupcake I should order, when helpful Mr. Aaron exclaimed that their Red Velvet was their bestseller. And Red Velvet it was. Aaron hands me a HUGE, muffin sized cupcake, so he can pose for the picture, but ends up putting it in this amazing packaging, which I thought was a great added bonus. The plastic packaging was like a mini to go container, but had a holder for the actual cupcake part, so the frosting part and the cake part were all compartamentalized and contained... which was perfect, since I was headed to the theater for a matinee anyways! When I got to finally enjoy my mega cupcake, it was absolutely heavenly... I think I had a cupcake orgasm. The cake was deliciously moist, and the frosting was to die for. I'm telling you! They're all over New York!! Cali girls? There's four Crumbs locations opening up in Beverley Hills and all over SoCal, and one already open in Malibu.

classy vs. unclassy

-A Madonna/Lady Gaga/Michael Jackson-esque crotch grab, not entirely, but needless to say, in essence, CLASSY.
-Miley Cyrus crotch grabbing in concert in front of her 10-14 year old fans. Ehhh, I'd have to say UNCLASSY. Miss Cyrus isn't even an adult!!
_____

-Belting "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus during a summertime drive with the chicas. CLASSY. You know its a guilty pleasure ;]
-Singing "Party in the USA" at the Teen Choice Awards, while dancing on a stripper pole. UNCLASSY. Again, how old are you Miley? No, seriously. How old? Okay, this isn't Hate on Miley Cyrus week, these just seem fitting. I think deep down inside Mileys a real classy lady, she just thinks shes a bit older than she actually is. What happened to innocent little Hannah Montana?
_____

-Kentucky Derby hats in all their drama, feathers galore!! CLASSY!
-Trying to actually watch the Kentucky Derby race while sitting behind hats like the ones above? Im sure it's annoying, possibly UNCLASSY. But hey, its the spirit of the event! And plus, these hats are so fun to look at!!!
_____

- Arizona's confict with the Immigration Law and all of it's chaos. Ridiculous! UNCLASSY. Ew, swastikas smeared on windows with refried beans. No thanks.

-Arizona's big time partying in the Valley for SEX AND THE CITY deuxx!! SOOO RIDICULOUSLY CLASSY! Check out the ultimate SATC2 bashes going on in the Valley, including a party at the W Scottsdale (pictured above)! Who knew a place so far could make you feel as glamorous and glitzy as the NYC?!?! Ohhh how I wish I was a Arizona Valley girl (kinda).
P.S. for all of you SATC2 fanatics throwing your own parties, check this out...

What better way to celebrate the movie, and your girlfriends, of course, with a Limited Edition SKYY VODKA Sex and the City 2 Bottle?!

What do YOU think?!

Okay, so everybody's talking about this dance routine. Classy or Unclassy?
They're so itty-bitty and adorably cute! But I guess some people take their dancing the wrong way. But then again, what are these girls' parents thinking?! My momma wouldn't let me dress/dance like that. What's the verdict?

when you wish...

"All I ask is that you treat me no different than you would the Queen!"

This is my new art piece I did for my mother for Mommy's Day! Paint on canvas, with glitter, magazine collage on the sides, and tissue paper. I'm pretty happy with it, despite it not being completely finished.

In other news, my college decision has changed! Unfortunately no more New York City. But I got into my #1 choice, Villanova University! I am officially a Villanova Wildcat! I'm quite excited to start up in August.

Also, I am officially a Fashion Expert on WISHPOT.COM so check out my Wishlist (on the website or in my sidebar), and make your own!!

hey now, wishes do come true!

PROMalamaa

My senior prom was this past weekend! It was quite fantastic. I loved my makeup by MAC, and my hairdresser did a really cute french twist with my hair with my little peacock headband! We took pictures at my friend Dani's beautiful house... the weather was perfect, the sun was shining, everyone was looking fabulous, and the background was gorgeous! Don't you think? The actual Prom was at the Crown Plaza, so after dinner, and after the dance we had an amazing time partying the night away at a friend's house. Quite a classy night ;]
Here's a few pictures!

Let me tell you about my best friend...

I love the faces on this picture!!

These fabulous chicas.

all of the ladies!

This girl! Love her. We're going to do it BIG in NYC next year! P.S. We're dress twinsies!

Shoes!!!

Like I said, it was a very classy night ;]
And despite being sick (and still being sick for that matter), I had an amazing time! I concluded my fantastic weekend with an annual Mother Daughter Brunch that my school hosts. Love quality time with my mommy!

And how was your weekend??
